Archemy Consulting Ltd Portfolio | Sustainable buildings and neighbourhoods
Designer team leader.
A 250,000 SF manufacturing facility with a 52,000 SF amenity, meeting and reception space attached. The amenity space is a “crossroads” for the other adjacent company facilities and features wood construction, a “Zen” indoor landscape with stones and water, and a large tropical green wall in a solar “winter garden”. The use of wood in this type of building is very unusual, and so is the wood. The roof panels are CLT, a new long-span product made from reclaimed trees killed by the mountain pine beetle. The crossroads has ground source heating and cooling and is pre-installed for a future photovoltaic roof.
